GRAND RAPIDS - Davenport University has introduced a new specialty in Global Project Management within the Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. While coursework and experiential learning will focus primarily in the information systems and technology area, the program also provides students with the opportunity to explore and apply the concepts in other areas such as finance and healthcare. LANSING - New legislation developing a Michigan Renewable Portfolio Standard has been captured by the state’s major utilities and will result in less green-powered energy for more money, argues Barry Cargill, Executive Director of the Customer Choice Coalition. Cargill also said the Michigan Democratic Party delegation, eager to retain and expand unionized jobs, has fallen under the spell cast by DTE and Consumer’s Energy.
