TROY - Patrick Anderson of the Anderson Economic Group in East Lansing talks about the Fourth Annual Technology Industry Report: Driving Southeast Michigan Forward, which shows the average wage for workers in the Life Sciences sector grew 4.4 percent to more than $97,000. TROY – Ken Rogers discusses a new report released Monday by Automation Alley says information technology professionals in southeast Michigan earned a 5.1 percent average wage increase from 2004 to 2005, despite the region losing some 6.1 percent of overall technology jobs – suggesting Southeast Michigan has been attracting or generating a fair amount of high-paying tech jobs.
